The Miami Heat intend to keep swingman Duncan Robinson beyond his contract guarantee date, a league source told Amico Hoops.
The move will guarantee $1 million of Robinson’s contract in 2019-20.
He went undrafted out of Michigan in 2018 and spent most of his rookie season on a two-way contract with the Heat and in the G League with the Sioux Falls Skyforce.
Robinson, 25, averaged 3.3 points and 1.3 rebounds with the Heat in 15 appearances. He scored a career-high 15 points vs. the Brooklyn Nets on April 10.
