NBA Play of the Night
Golden State Warriors (0-2) at New Orleans Pelicans (0-3)
Line: New Orleans -4.5 O/U: 237
No one probably would have predicted such a slow start for the defending Western Conference champion Warriors, but reality has quickly set in that this isn’t the same Warriors team that ran through the conference the last five seasons.
The Pelicans are looking for their first win as they lost to the Rockets 126-123 on Saturday, but to a player the team feels like they could have won every game they’ve played in.
Golden State was flat out embarrassed Sunday, trailing by as many as 41 before losing 120-92 to Oklahoma City.
The Warriors have too much pride as a team to keep losing as badly as they have, and with Zion Williamson still watching from the sideline, Golden State will come out more motivated than in any game they have played, wanting to silence the critics.
Take the Warriors and the points, as you won’t need them as Golden State should win straight up.
