The Orlando Magic have signed guard John Petrucelli and waived shooting guard B.J. Johnson, the team announced in a news release.
Petrucelli is 6-foot-4 and spent last season with the Lakeland Magic of the G-League. He appeared in 43 games and averaged 8.3 points and 4.1 rebounds.
Overall, he has appeared in 75 G-League games, with Lakeland and the Erie Bayhawks. He also spent two years (214-16) playing professionally in Slovakia.
Johnson went undrafted out of La Salle in June.
