The Philadelphia 76ers conducted a group workout Monday, bringing in veteran shooting guards Jodie Meeks and Brandon Rush, as well as small forward Corey Brewer, according to a report from Keith Pompey of the Philadelphia Inquirer.
Along with those three, the Sixers brought in second-year swingman Jamel Artis, Pompey reported. Artis spent part of last season with the Orlando Magic. He is currently playing for the Los Angeles Clippers’ affiliate in the G-League.
The Sixers have one roster spot available.
Meeks, 31, was waived by the Milwaukee Bucks in November following a trade with the Washington Wizards. He averaged 6.3 points in 77 games last season.
Rush, 33, has not played in the NBA since the 2016-17 season, but has remained on the radar of a handful of teams. This is his second workout this season with the Sixers.
Brewer, 32, spent last season with the Los Angeles Lakers and Oklahoma City Thunder. He averaged 10.1 points in 18 games with OKC.
Artis, 25, appeared in 15 games with the Magic last year, averaging 5.1 points and 2.5 rebounds.
