The San Antonio Spurs have re-signed small forward Rudy Gay and will be adding veteran forward DeMarre Carroll, according to Shams Charania of Stadium.
Gay is returning on a two-year, $32 million deal, Charania reported.
Also per Charania, Carroll agreed to a two-year deal worth $13 million.
Gay, 32, averaged 13.7 points and 6.8 rebounds in 69 games this past season. He will be entering his third year with the Spurs.
Carroll, also 32, averaged 11.1 points and 5.2 boards in 67 games with the Brooklyn Nets — who are signing Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving and DeAndre Jordan, leaving little room for Carroll.
The Spurs may be looking for additional help via trade, in an effort to find even more complementary pieces for power forward LaMarcus Aldridge and shooting guard DeMar DeRozan.
