The Phoenix Suns have brought in free agent forward Ben Moore for workout this week, according to Emiliano Carchia of Sportando.
Moore is 6-foot-8 and appeared in two games in 2017-18 with the Indiana Pacers for his lone NBA run. The former SMU standout also signed a 10-day contract with the San Antonio Spurs last season.
He went undrafted in 2017 and spent time in the G League. He averaged 12.5 points and 6.7 rebounds with the Fort Wayne Mad Ants last season.
Moore “opened eyes” with his performance at the Team USA tryouts, Carchia reported.
Mikal Bridges, Dario Saric, Kelly Oubre Jr. and rookie Cameron Johnson are among the forwards on the Suns’ depth chart.
