The Oklahoma City Thunder are signing free agent small forward DeVaughn Akoon-Purcell to a partially guaranteed contract, according to JD Shaw of HoopsRumors.
Akoon-Purcell, 26, is 6-foot-6 and appeared in seven games with the Denver Nuggets as a rookie last season. He spent his first two seasons as a pro in Denmark, and has also played in France, Israel and the G League.
Following the signing of Akoon-Purcell, the Thunder will have 18 players on the roster ahead of training camp.
Andre Roberson, Terrance Ferguson and Hamidou Diallo are some of the other wing players on the Thunder depth chart.
