MIAMI (US) – The FIBA ​​Miami Regional Office has confirmed that two more national teams of each gender will join the FIBA ​​3×3 AmeriCup 2022, scheduled for November 4-6, 2022 in Miami, Florida. Brazil and Venezuela are the last teams to be added to the 29 national teams that will fight to be the best in America.

The FIBA ​​3×3 AmeriCup 2022 is entering its second edition after the grand opening event in 2021. Last year’s tournament brought together 29 national teams and the United States was playing against Brazil in both the men’s and women’s finals. The United States won the trophy in both finals and will be part of the 2022 edition once again as the reigning champions.

The confirmed participating teams for the FIBA ​​3×3 AmeriCup 2022 are: Argentina, Aruba, Barbados, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, United States, Guatemala, Guyana, Haiti, Jamaica, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Saint Lucia and Trinidad and Tobago and Venezuela. With 19 men’s teams and 14 women’s teams, there will be a total of 33 national teams of both genders.
