Football does not thank many, especially when results condemn work and nullify dreams.

It happened to Mayer Candillo, who came to the technical management of his beloved Deportivo Cali to fulfill a dream, but left the club in a sporting crisis and deep results.

However, few people justify the accusation he made in a conversation with Win Sports, in which he directly targeted two fans, the Sugar Club and Santa Fe Club, the traditional rivals of Milnarius, one of his most beloved teams.

“Santa Fe and Cali are the two fans who are least supportive of their teams,” the coach said.

It is impossible not to ask yourself: Is this revenge for the little support you received while in Cali? “I am a calm and relaxed person and I don’t hold a grudge against anything. The time in Cali was a great lesson that will help me grow more, learn more because I am new to this subject as a coach, this was my second lesson by chance, the first was in Kortoloa.”

“At Cali one finds older players, different talents in a big organisation, where the pressure is more. There is nothing bad, everything is a gain. I left very happy to have had the chance to be in this team. The negatives were the results, but I didn’t I keep that, I kept what was valuable.”

Candelo left a final reflection on active footballers: “The footballer is always complaining, we are controversial in some cases. He gives us trips, everything is paid, we have everything and sometimes we benefit from it, from being talented, from being the personality of the atmosphere.”
