Warriors, Livingston push back guarantee date on contract

Shaun Livingston and the Warriors have agreed to push back the guarantee date on his contract for next season.

Shaun Livingston and the Golden State Warriors have reached an agreement to push back the guarantee date on his $7.7 million contract for the 2019-20 season to July 10, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

By reaching the agreement, it allows the Warriors some flexibility in regard to making decisions with free agency set to tip Sunday night.

Livingston, 33, averaged 4.0 points, 1.8 rebounds and 1.8 assists in 15.1 minutes in 64 games off the bench for Golden State last season, shooting 51.9 percent from the field and 78.4 percent from the free-throw line.
