The Minister of Health visited the Ecuadorian State Commercial Vaccination Center Quality of Roses (EQR) – Ministry of Public Health

The Ministry of Public Health (MSP) continues to implement the 9/100 vaccination plan. The second doses were applied this time at the Equiadorian Quality Roses (EQR) commercial vaccination center, located in the Santa Ana Centro neighborhood, Lasso sector, in Latacunga (Cotopaxi).

The Minister of Public Health, Ximena Garzón, toured the venue to learn about the work, cooperation and results of the vaccination of company workers at Alejandro Martínez, CEO of Expoflores; Santiago Rubio Darka, CEO, EQR; Christian Silva, Zonal 3-Salud Coordinator, and Oswaldo Coronel, Governor of Cotopaxi.

While welcoming the authorities, EQR CEO Santiago Rubio Darka said the private company had joined forces to serve workers, families, collaborators and society as part of the country’s strategic sectors.

The Supreme Authority spoke with users and took the opportunity to apply the second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine to EQR employees.

In an interview with the media, he reported that Ecuador has the necessary biological materials to continue the vaccination strategy, under the 9/100 vaccination plan. “We ensure that vaccines reach the strategic sectors, and even more so in the agricultural sector. (…) The important thing is to always carry on prevention measures and, above all, to get vaccinated,” Garzon said.

Finally, Alejandro Martinez, CEO of Expoflores, highlighted and praised the detailed work between private and public companies, describing the efforts of each sector as “fantastic”.
