Ambassadors are appointed in Chile, Paraguay, Jamaica and Sweden

President Luis Abenader last night appointed Manuel Ernesto Polanco Salvador as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Paraguay.

By Decree No. 735-20, issued last year, Lourdes Gisela Antonia Victoria-Cruz has been appointed as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Slovak Republic, based in the Kingdom of Sweden.

In addition, Angie Shakira Martinez Tigera has been appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Jamaica, and Fausto Raphael Lise Quinones as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Chile. The decree was issued on December 29, 2020.

Other diplomats

On October 21, Abenader appointed new ambassadors to Russia, Haiti, Peru, Honduras and Cuba.

With Decree 578-20, Frank Hans Danenberg appointed Castellanus as ambassador of the Dominican Republic to the Russian Federation.

As well as to Alejandro Arias Zarzuela in the Republic of Peru and to Farouk Miguel in the Republic of Haiti. Likewise, Sandra Mansibo has been appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Dominican Republic in Honduras, and Flavio Amauri Rondon de Jesus in Cuba. Since assuming the presidency on August 16, President Abenader has made a series of changes in the country’s diplomatic and consular corps, aiming to bring about a change in international relations with other subjects.
