An arrest warrant was issued against Don Omar in Bolivia

Urban singer Don Omar faces an arrest warrant in Bolivia after Nancy Carrasco, who specializes in patrimonial crimes, ordered it this Saturday in the Santa Cruz de la Sierra district.

An arrest warrant has been issued against the artist, William Omar Landron, with the intention of testifying in the financial and economic unit of Santa Cruz’s crime-fighting special forces in connection with the aggravated fraud, Colombian newspaper Time reported.

The arrest warrant was issued following a complaint filed by the Deputy Ministry of User and Consumer Protection after the artiste’s concert scheduled for Thursday, January 19 in La Paz was suspended. The suspension was due to difficulties in traveling to the artist’s country.
