Santiago. –Domingo Paulino (CDP) FC defeated Fernando Valerio (Plaza) FC for the second time this season in the first game of the day scheduled for Wednesday night at the conclusion of the 42nd Basketball Tournament regular series in Santiago.

CDP dominated the first half 49-43, as the first quarter ended in a draw at 23 and the second ended 26-20, in favor of CDP, where Yormi Almonte was the best for the capital that first half with 11 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists, followed by Jenny Jimenez and Jason Valdez with a score 7 points each, Valdes received 3 assists and Jimenez 2, while Añori Castillo led the Plaza team with 8 points and Americo Delgado finished with 7 points and 2 rebounds.

Plaza won the third quarter 32-26, to go to the last regulatory time with the scoreboard tied at 75 points, and finished 28-27, in favor of the CDP, those points were enough to win the victory.

The event returns on Sunday starting at 4:00 PM with the start of the semi-final series. 1st place will be measured by 4th and 2nd to 3rd place respectively divided into A and B, both for the top five matches.
