In Texas incentive checks are expected to be mailed on December 28th, while direct deposits are expected to be made on December 29th. However, it is important to take into account certain requirements to qualify for this financial assistance.
In the specific case of Texas, payments are made based on the Teacher Retirement System (TRS). They are then distributed on the last business day of each month. If the check is cashed through Teacher Retirement System, a cash register copy will be sent. If it is not used, the original payment will be suspended and the beneficiaries will have to make a request for the same. A replacement check is estimated to be available for cashing within 7 to 10 business days.
