Thus, the Bulls held “exploratory conversations” with DeMar DeRozan about a possible contract extension, as reported by the journalist from espn Jamal Collier.

Already in September it was reported that Chicago management was inclined to renew the contract of its star. A claim is starting to take shape given the contractual need for the forward, who is in his final year of action, and which will earn him around $28.6 million.

According to sources from the aforementioned media outlets, the Bulls are interested in a new long-term agreement even though DeRozan is now 34 years old.
