The Children’s Pavilion opens to the public at the International Book Fair.

Santo Domingo. From Saturday, April 23, visitors to the 24th Santo Domingo International Book Fair 2022 (FILSD) can enjoy a program of activities for the whole family in the Children’s Pavilion at the Trampoline Museum.

With the release of the Story Bank book, the space became a place for children to creatively learn the content, themes, and activities offered in this suite.

The event was attended by Culture Minister Milagros German. Banreservas Volunteers President, Noelia García de Pereira, and Banco de Reserveas General Manager, Samuel Pereira.

The book, by Dominican writer and designer Taina Almodovar, creatively and in simple language tells how Banco de Reservas grew up inviting children to dream big, read and create their own story bank.

“I am pleased to put in your hands this project that we created with so much love and care. The most beautiful thing starts today, when this story begins to be a part of all of you and becomes yours too,” Almodovar said when handing copies to the children present.

The Children’s Pavilion has an extensive program of activities that include workshops, plays, guided and animated readings, children’s songs, dynamic tenths, riddles, and more.

The 24th Santo Domingo International Book Fair takes place from Saturday 23 April to 2 May in Colonial City and is dedicated to Dominican writers Carmen Natalia and Pedro Pex. It has the European Union as a special guest.
