Goals: El Salvador 0-2 Canada, Guadalajara pre-Olympic

The pre-Olympic team of El Salvador lost to Canada 2-0 in its first match in a group of qualifiers in Guadalajara. Jalisco Stadium was where the North American team won without problems against Hugo Perez’s students.

The MLS New England Revolution striker scored the first goal in the 16th minute, when he removed Kevin Mingivar on the left side and from his left leg, placing the ball between Mario Gonzalez’s legs.

Five minutes later, Buchanan scored again, this time with a powerful shot from outside the area, which was impossible for Gonzales to stop.

During the second half, El Salvador tried to match actions, but could not afford the entire maple leaf tactical arrangement.
