In a thrilling and exciting finale, Ramírez hit the jackpot, beating Quixote in an ax and chalk final, but led by Javier Emmanuel Pérez who won 30 pesos.
As a foal he won the Jockey Club and then alternated good and bad, he was forgotten in the stakes and had a great race, beating Quixote in the closing metres.
He ran the race from the start and took the lead from Her Majesty, who was the main favourite. He ran the race all over the place, came back and took a nice win.

Quixote finished second behind Roundofapplause, while the podium was closed by Join Battle. Maba Mundi finished in fourth place, while Prelude Ray finished fifth.
With nearly 10,000 people watching the races, Roundofapplause put on a great show to finish as one of the most important races in Uruguay.
