Raul Ruediaz has shown a new goal in MLS, this time to overtake the Seattle Sounders on their visit to Austin FC. The national striker scored a ball near the midfield, and stole the applause of locals and outsiders at the Q2 Stadium.

The Flea had to appear against the Sounders to claim another win in the regular season of the American Championship.

The national striker was a substitute and patiently waited his turn on the bench until the 54th minute, when coach Brian Schmitzer ordered his entry to replace Samuel Adeniran.

Not even 15 minutes passed and Ruidíaz found a great way to put the Sounders ahead. At 67′ he hit a rebound and controlled his chest near the center circle of the field and sent the ball past Austin FC, hanging the opposing goalkeeper in spectacular fashion.

Thanks to the beautiful Peruvian scoring, the Seattle Sounders were able to win by the slightest difference and cemented their lead as the leader of the MLS West Conference with 32 points.

In this way, Ruidíaz once again became the top scorer in the competition with 11 victories. Only one goal away is Mexican Javier “Chicharito” Hernandez.
