The draw is a shame again and again; UEFA lie

Real Madrid consider the rematch of the Champions League 16th round draw a “disgrace” and, according to various sources confirmed to ESPN, accuse UEFA of “lying” in explaining the reasons that led to that decision.

The white club was initially paired with Benfica, but the draw was ruled invalid after potential rivals Villarreal and Atletico de Madrid were shown to have made a mistake in their selection.

Minutes later, UEFA released a statement saying that the draw was set to resume due to a “technical problem with the software”.

“Following a technical glitch in a third-party service provider’s software instructs officials which teams are eligible to play against each other. There was a material error in the draw for the UEFA Champions League 16th round. As a result, the draw was declared invalid and will be repeated at 15:00 CET.” UEFA explained in a statement.

As a result, the shake was declared invalid and will be fully repeated at 15:00 CET.

But after the balls had already decided that the white club would face the Portuguese in the 16th round, Madrid felt that their pairing with Benfica should continue to be maintained as the UEFA made mistakes.

The White Club thinks it’s a shame ‘to repeat the entire draw, and in the case of doing it again, considers it to have been only from the time it first joined the Portuguese.

In addition, the same sources explain that they do not trust UEFA’s explanation for ESPN because they think there is no problem with the software, but a human error. Even before finally realizing that their next opponents in the Champions League quarter-finals were Lionel Messi and Sergio Ramos’s Paris Saint-Germain, Madrid showed their anger to ESPN with this decision.
