The Young Space will host, until January 29th, the exhibition “Exposición tauromaca”, by Raquel de la Iglesia
On Monday, Salamanca City Council Youth Adviser Daniel Lanos inaugurated the painting exhibition “Bullfighting” by Raquel de la Iglesia, which can be visited in the exhibition hall in Espacio Jouven until the following day, 29 January.
“The exhibition bullfight”, according to the author, is an exhibition that “seeks to express feelings and emotions beyond the honest representation of objective reality.” To do so, in each of the works, “color and texture are used excessively in order to provide a unique character to the creations, in which all components are combined and it is the mind that finds among the totality of the work this distinctive form.”
The exhibition takes a journey from the initial idea on the subject of bullfighting to reaching the height of expression, in which the author represents his emotions and his way of understanding and feeling without noticing or thinking about a potential spectator.
The “Bullfighting Show” can be visited at Espacio Joven Municipal Offices, at 16 José Jáuregui Street, Monday through Friday, from 9 am to 2 pm and 5 pm to 8 pm.
This exhibition is part of the activities undertaken by Salamanca City Council to promote and promote youth art. In addition to being able to display in this 200sqm city center room, there is also diptychs print and free posting posters.
