Treasury postpones the deadline for submitting the monthly SUT return
Today, Finance Minister Francisco Paris Alesia announced that the deadline for traders to submit monthly sales and use the tax return has been postponed from last December. Until Monday, January 25.
This, because the SURI platform will not be available from tonight until Thursday January 21, as a security measure to continue “working with the necessary programs for distributing aid approved under federal law,” that is, the $ 600 stimulus check.
“In order to begin distributing aid related to the second batch in an orderly and coordinated manner, in a preventive manner, SURI will not be available,” a Treasury circular stated.
Any other announcement, notification, or appeal for review, action, or tax payment that expires on January 19 and 20, will be extended until Monday, January 25.
