UABC launches project in favor of popularizing science |  Tijuana news

Tijuana, British Columbia. – Presentation of the Cimarrón Science project has been preferred by returning to live events in College of Humanities and Social Sciencesinside UABC Campus Tijuana.

The scholarly publication project was presented by College Director, Maria de Jesus Montoya Robles, Concepcion Paxín Melgoza, in charge of the audiovisual production area, Luis Alberto Alcantara, project production coordinator, and Rebecca Mancella, in charge of publishing.

“Cimarrón Science is an audiovisual project that includes content to disseminate the scientific work of the university community,” said the Director of the Academic Unit during the presentation of the project.

Troubleshooting community

He commented that the intention of Cimarrón Science was to have a greater impact in solving community problems, because the contents would be related to applied basic sciences for easy dissemination.

“The project arose from inquiries in the university’s postgraduate courses, as well as in investigations by the various universities,” said production coordinator Luis Alberto Alcantara.
