Since winning the title with Chelsea in 2014-15, Mourinho has only been at the top Premier League A few weeks into the start of his first two seasons with Manchester United. But if the Spurs win the fight in West Brom today, he will return to his old home.
It may only be a few hours, but it will support the growing sense that Spurs can create an amazing title challenge this season. They need Harry Kane and Son Hyung-min to fit in and retain their fantastic form, but the Spurs challenge is more imaginative than Everton started the season with that awful defeat at home.
