Fleming leaving Nets to join Boylen’s staff with Bulls

Chris Fleming is leaving Brooklyn to become the lead assistant in Chicago.

Chris Fleming is headed to Chicago to become the lead assistant for Jim Boylen with the Bulls, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

Fleming has been an assistant on coach Kenny Atkinson’s staff with the Brooklyn Nets since Atkinson took over in 2016.

A former coach of the German National Team, Fleming was an assistant coach for the Denver Nuggets during the 2015-16 season.

Boylen signed what is believed to be a multi-year contract extension with the Bulls last week.
