Former Utah State standout Carroll re-signs with Real Madrid

Former Utah State star and current European veteran guard Jaycee Carroll has re-signed with Real Madrid, according to Ignacio Ojeda.

Carroll, 37, has been with the Spanish club since 2011 and averaged 7.5 points this past season. He was said to be considering retirement.

He is Utah State’s all-time leading scorer and has the second-highest 3-point field-goal percentage in NCAA history. He spent time with the New Jersey Nets and Toronto Raptors in summer league in 2008, before signing with Spanish club Gran Canaria.

He also spent time with the Boston Celtics and New York Knicks in summer league.
