The Charlotte Hornets and Isaiah Wilkins have agreed on a deal that will bring him to training camp.
Wilkins, the stepson of NBA legend Dominique Wilkins, will be in camp with the Hornets, according to a report by Michael Scotto of The Athletic.
The Charlotte Hornets have agreed to a training camp deal with Virginia's Isaiah Wilkins, the ACC Defensive Player of the Year, a league source told The Athletic.

The 6-foot-8, 205-pound Wilkins went undrafted out of Virginia, where he played four seasons. As a senior, he averaged 6.0 points, 6.2 rebounds, 1.6 assists, 1.2 steals and 1.4 blocked shots in 27.5 minutes in 34 starts (all starts).
He was named Atlantic Coast Conference Defensive Player of the Year. He wore No. 21 for the Cavaliers in honor of his famous stepfather.
Wilkins shot 48.5 percent from the field and 75.6 percent from the free-throw line, but only 17.6 percent from beyond the 3-point line.
While a longshot to earn a spot on the Hornets’ 15-man roster, Wilkins would seem to be a good candidate to wind up with their G League affiliate, the Greensboro Swarm.
