While the Philadelphia 76ers are pitching LeBron James’ agent, Rich Paul, on Sunday in Los Angeles, one of the aspects of their presentation will be continuing to pursue a deal for Kawhi Leonard.
Reports from Ian Begley of ESPN and Jabari Young of San Antonio Express-News (and a Philadelphia native) indicate Leonard, the San Antonio Spurs’ disgruntled superstar, would consider re-signing with the 76ers after his contract expires after next season and makes him an unrestricted free agent.
On the Sixers and a potential trade for Kawhi Leonard, it’s worth noting that there are several people with Philadelphia who feel confident that Leonard would strongly consider re-signing there next summer if they traded for him.
