Kings’ Fox out 2 weeks with quad injury

De'Aron Fox of the Kings says he isn't bothered to not be asked to play in the Rising Stars Challenge at All-Star Weekend.

Sacramento Kings rookie point guard De’Aaron Fox has a partial tear in his right quadriceps muscle and will miss the next two weeks, the team announced.

Fox will be re-evaluated after two weeks and the Kings will give an update then.

Fox, the fifth overall pick in the 2017 draft, is averaging 9.4 points and 3.7 assists on the season while shooting 40.2 percent from the field.
