The New York Knicks are signing free-agent forward Henry Ellenson to a 10-day deal, according to Shams Charania of Stadium.

Ellenson, 22, the 18th overall pick of the 2016 draft out of Marquette by the Detroit Pistons, was waived by them on Feb. 9.
The 6-foot-10, 245-pounder played in two games for Detroit this season, averaging 6.0 points and 4.5 rebounds in 12.5 minutes, shooting 36.4 percent from the field. He was waived when Detroit needed a roster spot to add guard Wayne Ellington.
Ellenson carries career averages of 3.8 points and 2.2 rebounds in 8.5 minutes n 59 games (2 starts), shooting 36.4 percent from the field, 32.3 percent from deep and 79.5 percent from the free-throw line.
