The New York Knicks have made an offer to free-agent forward Mario Hezonja, according to a report.
Marc Berman of The New York Post reports the deal is for one year and would be worth some of the Knicks’ mid-level exception.
Hezonja, the fifth overall pick of the 2015 NBA draft by the Orlando Magic, averaged 9.7 points, 3.7 rebounds, 1.4 assists, 1.1 steals and 1.2 3-point field goals made per game last season for the Magic.
He set career highs in points (15.7), rebounds (6.1), steals (1.8), and 3-point field goals made (2.0) per 36 minutes, as well as field goal percentage (44.2).
