The New York Knicks have waived point guard Tyrius Walker, the announced in a news release Tuesday.
Walker was signed to an Exhibit 10 contract to attend training camp, meaning he is eligible for $50,000 and a spot with the Knicks’ G-League affiliate in Westchester.
Walker went undrafted out of Division II Morehouse College, where he scored 22.8 points per game last season as a senior. He then joined the Knicks’ summer-league team and averaged 6.3 points.
