Free agent center DeAndre Jordan has agreed to a one-year contract with the Dallas Mavericks, according to the New York Times.
The contract is said to be near the $24.1 million option that Jordan surrendered when he opted out of his deal with the Los Angeles Clippers on Friday, per the report.
Jordan, 29, was drafted by the Clippers in 2008 and has spent his entire career with the franchise. He averaged 12.2 points and 15.2 rebounds in 77 games with the Clippers last season.
Since last summer, the Clippers have traded away Chris Paul and Blake Griffin, and now lost Jordan, bringing an official end to the Lob City era.
