Free agent guard Ian Clark is signing a one-year contract to return to the New Orleans Pelicans, according to Yahoo Sports.
The deal is for the veteran’s minimum, the New Orleans Advocate added.
Clark averaged a career-high 7.4 points in 74 games last season, his first with the Pelicans.
Per the New Orleans Times-Picayune:
“With Clark back, the guards on the Pelicans’ roster at this point are expected to be Jrue Holiday, E’Twaun Moore, rookies Frank Jackson and Tony Carr along with Gretna native Elfrid Payton, who agreed to a one-year $2.7 million deal with New Orleans on Sunday.”
He has also spent time with the Golden State Warriors, Denver Nuggets and Utah Jazz.
