The Memphis Grizzlies and free agent forward JaMychal Green are finalizing a two-year contract worth more than $17 million, according to a report from The Vertical.
Green is a the final restricted free agent available, but received no offers.
He averaged 8.9 points and 7.1 rebounds in 77 games with the Grizzlies last season, becoming the starting power forward next to standout center Marc Gasol.
Green, 27, is 6-foot-9 and entering his fourth NBA season.
“After leaving Alabama in 2012, Green played in France and the development League,” The Vertical reported. “He broke into the NBA on a 10-day contract with the San Antonio Spurs in 2015 before being waived to sign with the Grizzlies.”
