The San Antonio Spurs have waived forward/center Jaron Blossomgame, the team announced in a news release.
Bloosomgame was drafted by the Spurs with the No. 59 overall pick in 2017. He spent last season with the Austin Spurs of the G-League, averaging 16.5 points and 8.1 rebounds for the reigning champions.
While Blossomgame could return to Austin, he will be free to sign with any NBA club and their G-League affiliate upon clearing waivers.
He appeared in three preseason games for the Spurs, averaging 3.7 points and 1.7 rebounds in 6.3 minutes.
