Free agent forward Jeff Green has agreed to a one-year contract with the Cleveland Cavaliers, league sources told Amico Hoops.

Green is a 6-foot-9 forward who averaged 9.2 points and 3.1 rebounds last season with the Orlando Magic.

Green, 30, has also spent time with the Oklahoma City Thunder, Toronto Raptors, Memphis Grizzlies and Boston Celtics.

LeBron James helped recruit Green to the Cavs, according to ESPN, which broke the news of the signing. The deal is reportedly worth $2.3 million.

The Cavs have now signed Kyle Korver, Jose Calderon and Green this summer, with two roster spots still open.

They are attempting to create more roster spots and land more help in reserve via trade.
