Undrafted free agent forward Marcus Lee has signed a training camp contract with the Miami Heat, the team announced in a press release.
Lee is 6-foot-9 and began his college career at Kentucky before finishing at California last season.
After not getting drafted, he appeared in seven games with with the Cleveland Cavaliers’ summer team in Las Vegas this past July. For the Cavs’ summer squad, Lee averaged 6.1 points, 4.7 rebounds and 1.57 blocks, shooting 70 percent (21-of-30) from the field.
Kentucky coach John Calipari once said that Lee ““is one of the most conscientious and considerate people I’ve ever been around.”
