The Milwaukee Bucks will sign guard Xavier Munford to a two-way contract, according to a report from Yahoo Sports.
Munford is averaging 24 points for the Wisconsin Herd, the Bucks’ affiliate in the NBA G League.
The Bucks actually requested waivers on Munford, 25, back in October, just before the start of the season.
He spent last season with both the Greensboro Swarm of the G League and FC Barcelona Lassa. Also, he appeared 14 games with the Memphis Grizzlies in 2015-16.
Munford did not appear in a preseason game with the Bucks, who waived swingman James Young on Oct. 5 to make room for Munford.
