The New York Knicks brought in Georgetown center Jesse Govan for a pre-draft workout earlier in the week, according to Michael Scotto of The Athletic.
Govan is 6-foot-10 and just finished his junior season. He averaged team-highs of 17.9 points and 10.0 rebounds in 32.7 minutes under first-year Hoyas coach Patrick Ewing.
Govan did not hire agent and is not listed among in either round of most mainstream mock drafts.
The Knicks announced the hiring of David Fizdale as new coach earlier this week. They finished the regular season at 29-53 and have the ninth-best odds heading into Tuesday’s NBA Draft Lottery. They also have one second-round draft choice (No. 37 overall).
