Golden State Warriors forward Kevin Durant has a left ankle sprain and will not play in Sunday’s game against the Brooklyn Nets, according to multiple reports.
Durant scored 27 points in the Warriors’ come-from-behind win at Philadelphia on Saturday. The 6-foot-9 forward is averaging 24.9 points and 7.0 rebounds this season.
There is no known timetable for his return. He is considered day-to-day, per Chris Haynes of ESPN.
The Warriors (12-4) are 1-1 on their current East road trip, losing to Boston.
Tip-off for the Warriors-Nets game is 6 p.m. EST.
