The Philadelphia 76ers have signed free agent guard Demetrius Jackson to a two-way contract, the team announced in a press release.
To make room for Jackson, the Sixers released forward James Michael McAdoo.
Jackson is a 6-foot-1 point guard who played at Notre Dame. He was waived by the Boston Celtics during the summer, then signed with the Rockets. Houston signed him to a 10-day deal earlier this month, but waived him Monday.
McAdoo appeared in three games with the Sixers after signing a two-way deal in August.
