The Sacramento Kings have signed former Finlday University small forward Taren Sullivan to an Exhibit 10 contract, according to multiple reports — meaning Sullivan is eligible to receive $50,000 and a spot with the Kings’ G-League affiliate in Stockton, Calif.
Sullivan is 6-foot-6 and was not drafted in June, but he did lead the G-League player invitational in scoring. He also worked out for the Cleveland Cavaliers and Memphis Grizzlies.
As a senior with the Oilers last season, Sullivan averaged 17.2 points, 6.0 rebounds and 3.2 assists in 29 minutes a game.
He played high school ball at Lima (Ohio) Bath and helped lead Findlay to a 28-5 record last season. The Oilers lost to Ferris State in the NCAA Division II Midwest Region championship game.
