Felix signs camp contract with Wizards

Carrick Felix most recently played for the Long Island Nets of the G-League.

The Washington Wizards have signed swingman Carrick Felix to a training camp contract, per a report from 2 Ways & 10 Days.

Felix has spent time with the Canton Charge, Santa Cruz Warriors and Long Island Nets of the G-League — and part of the offseason with the Dallas Mavericks’ summer league team.

He was drafted by the Cleveland Cavaliers with the No. 33 overall pick in 2013.

The contract is most likely a two-way deal that will keep Felix in the G-League.

Felix was traded by the Cavs to the Utah Jazz in July 2014, then cut by the Jazz in October of that same year. He has not played in the NBA since.
