The Orlando Magic have waived veteran point guard Shelvin Mack, the team announced in a press release Monday.
Mack, 28, played in 69 games with the Magic this past season, averaging 6.3 points and 3.9 assists in 20 minutes per game.
A 2011 second-round pick of the Washington Wizards, Mack has spent time with Washington, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Utah and Orlando. He has compiled career averages of 6.4 points., 3.1 assists. and 2.0 rebounds in 399 regular-season games.
