Utah Jazz point guard Dante Exum could return to the lineup this week barring a setback in his recovery from left shoulder surgery, according to a report from The Salt Lake Tribune.
Exum suffered a separated left shoulder during the preseason and underwent surgery to stabilize the AC joint.
The 22-year-old averaged 6.2 points per game last season in 66 games played, including 26 starts.
Exum, the fifth overall pick in the 2014 draft, tore his ACL three summers ago and missed the entire 2015-16 campaign.
The Jazz announced Monday that guard Raul Neto has a fractured left wrist and will be out indefinitely, so they are getting Exum back at a good time.
Utah is currently 10th place in the Western Conference and fighting for a playoff spot.
