Report: Vogel has expressed interest in Knicks job

Recently fired Orlando Magic coach Frank Vogel has expressed interest in the vacant New York Knicks job, according to a report from The New York Post.

Vogel was let go by the Magic after just two seasons. He posted a record of 54-110.

The Knicks fired Jeff Hornacek after two seasons and team officials are expected to meet this weekend after exit interviews with players to compile an official candidate list, according to the Post.

New York’s brass has had internal discussions about Vogel, who had a successful six-year run with the Indiana Pacers, when he went 250-181 and led the team to two Eastern Conference finals.
