Undrafted small forward Kaiser Gates was among about a dozen players to work out for the Atlanta Hawks on Wednesday, a league source told Ben Stinar of Amico Hoops.
Gates is 6-foot-8 and declared for the draft following his junior season in May. He started 18 games last season and averaged 7.2 points and 4.6 rebounds, as the Muskateers garnered the first No. 1 NCAA tournament seed in school history.
Gates played for the Chicago Bulls in the Las Vegas summer league and participated in the Pro Basketball Combine in Orlando.
Earlier this week, Stinar reported that undrafted forward Dikembe Dixson was also scheduled to work out for the Hawks.
