The Cavaliers are searching for teams to take on Anderson Varejao’s contract to work out a three-team deal to land Channing Frye, per Yahoo Sports. The 76ers and Trail Blazers were mentioned as potential suitors, according to the site.
The Clippers are attempting to land Channing Frye from the Magic in exchange for Lance Stephenson, C.J. Wilcox and a second-round pick, per Yahoo Sports. But the Magic have become more motivated to send Frye to the Cavaliers into a trade exception, the website reports.

Cavaliers shooting guard Iman Shumpert “is available if the Kings want him,” per the Sacramento Bee. Kings guard Ben McLemore could be moved in such a deal, the newspaper reports. “The question is would the Kings want to take back (Cavs center) Timofey Mozgov, who will be a free agent and will be looking for a big payday?” per the Bee.
Small forward Rudy Gay is pushing for a trade from the Kings, per Basketball Insiders.
The Kings are interested in trading for Hawks swingman Thabo Sefolosha, per ESPN.
The Pelicans are pushing hard to find a trade for forward Ryan Anderson, per Yahoo Sports. The Wizards are believed to be one team involved in the conversations regarding Anderson.

Guard Bryce Dejean-Jones will not be returning to the Idaho Stampede of the D-League, per D-League Digest. Dejean-Jones is expected to sign a multi-year deal with an NBA team, the website reports.
The Clippers are close to finalizing a trade for Magic forward Channing Frye, but want to explore a larger deal before pulling the trigger, per Yahoo Sports.
The Cavaliers are also said to be in discussions involving Frye, the website reported.

It has not been reported what the Cavaliers would offer for Frye — but it’s unlikely it would be any player in the regular rotation.
